Transcend Credit Union has a fabulous opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator!
The Marketing Coordinator contributes to the achievement of overall Credit Union goals and fulfillment of the Marketing Department's core purpose by researching and analyzing member trends, recommending and implementing promotions, increasing the number of services and balances per member, and assist branch and back office personnel with their Marketing needs.
Specific Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Social Media management. Create, develop, implement, and manage effective Social Media relations strategies that increase Credit Union name and product recognition, and increase growth of younger members.

Develop monthly proposals for Target Marketing Campaigns and Promotions.
- Create cross-sell opportunities and promotions through the CRM software, track results and report accordingly.
- Provide research and analysis on member trends, member behavior, channel usage, service usage, product usage and product profitability using the Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF). Present findings monthly to SVP/COO and Executive Management Team. Use information to recommend product and service enhancements and targeted campaigns.
- Develop and oversee direct mail, member retention and on-boarding programs that increase services per household, decrease attrition, and deepen member relationships.
- Assist the SVP/COO with marketing functions.
- Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature. Maintain an adequate supply of marketing materials and determine when to reorder.
- Provide support for community outreach events and marketing exhibitions as required.
- Responsible for digital signage, promotional materials distribution, updates, and mailing list creations, as required.
This position will also serve as a back-up to the Tellers and Call Center as needed, as well as participate in the Saturday rotation for these positions.

Teller / Member Service Representative Responsibilities
- Identify the financial needs of the members and suggest an appropriate Credit Union solution. Cross-sell appropriate products and services to benefit the member and achieve sales goals set forth by the Credit Union.
- Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing prompt, reliable and courteous service when assisting members with financial transactions and services.
- Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary membership information.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift (if performing cash transactions) and compare totals to core processor totals. Research and resolve discrepancies. Report any discrepancies to immediate supervisor and SVP/COO.
- Call Center Specialist Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner. Ensure facilitation of first call resolution and member service satisfaction in all transactions.
- Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary membership information.
- Process member transactions and member’s phone and mail requests. Initiate calls to members to assure quality service.
- Participate in Saturday rotation for MSR / Call Center.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience within the financial industry.
- Experience with a MCIF program or similar software is preferred.
- Experience creating newsletters, advertising flyers, etc., is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and overall communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish and meet deadlines. Be a self-starter, highly organized, and work well within cross-functional teams and with outside vendors. Required

- Available to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Required
