Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims Analyst to join our team. As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing Motor Vehicle Accident, Veterans Affairs, and/or Workers' Compensation claims, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Your role will involve working with medical documentation, performing clerical tasks, and maintaining organized records.
Duties:
- Review and analyze claims to determine eligibility and coverage
- Verify insurance information and perform insurance verification
- Gather and review medical records to support claim processing
- Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures using HCPCS codes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation
- Assist in the preparation of claim reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain organized files and records for efficient retrieval
- Conduct research on workers' compensation laws and regulations to stay updated on industry changes
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law and regulations
- Proficiency in medical documentation review and analysis
- Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance verification procedures
- Ability to accurately code medical procedures using HCPCS codes
- Proficient in file management and record keeping systems
Note: This is a paid position.

Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
