Transco Lines, Inc., a logistics and transportation management company specializing in expedited freight, is searching for a Safety Coordinator to join our North Little Rock, AR team.
If you are a self-starter with sharp attention to detail , this is a great career opportunity to explore! Experience in a safety role in the trucking industry is a huge plus!
This is a day-shift role with a Monday-Friday Schedule.

- Ensuring CMV drivers adhere to FMCSA & DOT compliance pre and post hire.
- Monitoring driver alerts to ensure continued qualification.
- Reviewing medical situations to determine what follow up actions may be required.
- Renewing and dispersing DOT required permits.
- Reviewing and coaching drivers on forward facing camera captured events.
- Reviewing, coaching, and disciplining drivers on DOT HOS violations.
- Being available for phone calls from our driving partners.
- Proactively coaching drivers in problem areas.
- Uploading and organizing personnel files.
- Assisting in the on-boarding / Orientation of new CDL drivers.
- Assisting in managing the Mentor program to include the Mentors and Trainees.
- Training other employees in all the above as assigned.
- Various projects as needed.
