TransCore (TRN) is seeking an experienced and detail - oriented Paralegal to join our team in Nashville, TN.
Summary: Provides administrative support in litigation management, contract and lease administration to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Assists in administration of legal document management system. Assists in litigation management including discovery responses, docket management, e-discovery, and company licensure compliance. Assists General Counsel and other members of legal department as may be required.
This position is a hybrid remote/office position, based in the Nashville, TN office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Administration of contract and legal document management database system.
- Review and analysis of contract documents and legal documents to identify key content and contractual obligations.
- Monitors company conformance to contract and regulatory requirements and prepares reports of compliance with requirements.
- Provides support for administration of Legal Department activities.
- Maintains legal document management systems
- Supports litigation projects and coordinates e-discovery projects
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. Paralegal certificate is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- TN Notary Public required within thirty (30) days after hire
- Good experience in writing reports, legal documents, and correspondence, speak effectively before employees of organization and respond to common inquiries or complaints.
- Should be able to correctly read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Strong ability to effectively present information
- Strong organizational skills and project management skills
- Advanced experience with MS Office Software (Sharepoint a plus), Database Software, Adobe, and Legal Research Software
- Advanced experience with Ediscovery software and processes a plus
- Excellent in time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Strong Language and Mathematical skills
