Overview
The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight, direction and coordination of the dispatching department ensuring company, federal, state, and health plan regulations are complied with while also achieving the highest degree of safety for our Medicaid and Medicare members.
Responsibilities
- Acts as first line supervisor for designated dispatch staff, including hiring, training, managing performance, and enforcing discipline when necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring all shifts are covered adequately and dispatcher workload is distributed evenly.
- Conduct monthly performance evaluations of all staff members in accordance with Central Dispatch objectives.
- Enforce approved policies, procedures, and instructions within dispatch department
- Escalate transportation provider performance issues to network management team
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed and/or assigned.
- Other duties as required.

Possess valid authorization to work in the United States required
High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
Two years related experience and/or training preferred.
Working Knowledge of Ecolane software preferred
Knowledge of GPS and GIS systems
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, Internet software, e-mail, and/or database software preferred. Basic computer skills are required.
Must be able to read a map and possess knowledge of the service area.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must be hospitable, guest/customer service oriented, and be willing to serve the needs of passengers.
