Overview
This position is responsible for inspecting, cleaning and servicing paratransit passanger buses.
Starting wage $25/hr, plus benefits after 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Inspects, cleans, and sanitizes interior of the bus and prepares for daily service.
- Performs cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, and trash removal.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience with exposure to fundamental cleaning is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Must have good oral and written communications skills.
- Must be able to work amid constant interruptions, prioritize and deal with time pressured deadlines and be able to clearly communicate during such occasions.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must submit and successfully pass drug testing, criminal background check and verification of previous employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work pm shift Monday - Friday, (6pm - 2am).
- This position requires the wearing of a uniform.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of conditions (e.g. weather, rain, dust, noise, heat, cold, etc.).
- Job requires standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and walking throughout the shift.
- Must handle parts and equipment ranging from 10 to 50 lbs.
Position requires work in an environment where there is exposure to oils and cleaning solvents
