Transdev is seeking an Information and Technology Manager in Redding, CA, to oversee connectivity, accessibility, access, and use of transit application systems and related hardware and software. The salary range for this opportunity is $67,000 - $75,000.

Our Network and Systems Administrators are responsible for:
Major Responsibilities:
- Supports computers & networks at facilities & terminals.
- Provides on-site & remote IT helpdesk services.
- Manages network profiles & email for RABA staff.
- Maintains & troubleshoots various transit technologies (buses, facilities).
- Develops & coordinates transit data with mapping applications.
- Documents procedures, trains users, & budgets for IT.
- Manages IT security, assigns access privileges, & implements password management.
- Installs & configures new equipment (servers, laptops, printers).
- Supports VoIP phone system & provides project management expertise.
- Performs additional IT-related duties & consulting as needed by RABA.
Minimum Education & Certifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Management, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, or other related area
To qualify as a Network and Systems Administrators, you’ll need:
- two years of supervisory experience is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of network and server operating systems.
- Experience with support of Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server, and Active Directory.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Microsoft and/or Unix certifications are strongly preferred.
