EMT-Basic/Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as EMT-Basics. As an EMT-Basic, you will provide emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, emergency rooms, and ambulances. This is a critical role that requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Duties:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment
- Administer injections and medications as directed by medical professionals
- Perform vital sign assessments and monitor patient status
- Conduct physical examinations and gather relevant medical history
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws and administer IV fluids if necessary
- Assist with triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of condition
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals, patients, and their families
- Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately

Qualifications:
- Valid EMT-Basic certification/license
- Experience administering injections and medications
- Proficient in performing vital sign assessments
- Ability to drive safely and responsibly in emergency situations
- Familiarity with hospital and ER protocols and procedures
- Strong venipuncture skills for blood draws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
