Regional HR Business Partner Role Summary: Regional HR Business Partner will provide all facets of HR management for Wabtec’s operations in Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Turkey and Pakistan and serve as a strategic member of regional leadership team. Essential Responsibilities: Provide mentorship and support for full suite of HR functions, including talent management, performance management, organizational change, policy and process implementation and facilitating team performance. Partner with business management to develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in the region and develop / implement appropriate organizational change plans as required. Including recruiting, selection, and workforce management. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence in areas of organizational talent & strategy, compensation & benefits, HR Operations, immigration, payroll and employment counsel to ensure alignment and efficiency. Manage all aspect of employee relations in the region. Provide coaching, advice, counsel, and support for leadership, managers, employees and peers. Develop, modify and support local HR policies, processes and initiatives as required. Ensure managers and employees understand Company policies and apply them fairly and consistently across the organization. Ensure standardization and consistency of Company’s HR processes, policies, practices and procedures. Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles Fluent in English and Russian languages (writing, reading, listening, speaking) Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan labor legislation Must have legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan Desired Characteristics: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor relations or Business Administration Prior work experience in heavy equipment manufacturing and/or services company Prior experience in supporting Russia/CIS region Prior client support experience Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of Kazakh language is desired Wabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
