LOCATION AND WORK:
This position can be remote. Candidates located near one of our offices in Independence, Ohio, or Emerald Isle, North Carolina are preferred.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM:
The Pricing Analyst gathers and analyzes supply chain data for prospects and clients. The goal of the Pricing Analyst is to data-mine accurately and communicate discoveries and areas of opportunity to the Analytics team and sales resources within the Parcel Contract Negotiation service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and analyze supply-chain data.
- Track and maintain knowledge of the most appropriate parcel market pricing, challenging yield performance.
- Support the Parcel Contract Negotiation sales team during the sales process by analyzing new prospect supply-chain data, refreshing prior studies of supply-chain data and valuing offers during the negotiation process.
- Data mine and convey key insights & findings to the team.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions; make recommendations to the product team.
- Constantly seek ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer.
- Plan and conduct training sessions for employees and sales.
- Maintain timely project commitments in a team atmosphere.
- Effectively communicate complex data patterns internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Management/Supply-Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related degrees, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Prior experience in Analytics or a related area are strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong disposition for accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking abilities as well as problem identification and solving skills.
- Prior experience within a logistics environment is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced mathematical aptitude.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- High level of communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and autonomously.
- Ability to read and evaluate template legal agreements.
