GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Perform Quality Control tests on finished goods, raw materials, intermediates, purchase for resale products, field issues and manage batch retains.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Test and spray production batches and evaluate results. If necessary, recommend adjustments to enable batches to meet required specifications. Approve batches and products for sale to customers. Perform established tests and improve/develop processes and test methods to improve quality and efficiency. Review batch trends to adjust formulas to meet quality standards, to improve efficiency. Evaluate field issues and RGA’s, place on hold as needed and determine product disposition. Manage the batch retains, moving them out of the lab to the retain storage racks. Rotating out the expired retains and disposing them to make room for the most recent retains. Manage incoming CofAs and SDSs. Follow current ISO9001:2015 standards and procedures for QC Department. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training. Some formal education would be preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, coworkers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
