What You'll Bring:
Work with policies and procedures to address security risks. Educate and communicate security requirements and procedures to users and new employees. Help assess and document security risks, requirements and status. Produce reports and metrics on the status of our systems, policies and procedures with regard to security.
The Infosec Team for Global Fraud is key in identifying risk and vulnerabilities and communicating these to the teams responsible for the applications and systems to protect Transunion’s information assets.
This individual’s primary day-to-day responsibility will be in the execution of tasks under the direction of senior team members to be used in support of IT and business risk remediation, control assessments, information security initiatives, and management reporting. This individual will assist in the identification, assessment and reporting of information security risk. Position is an independent contributor and will work closely with peers and manager on Information Security projects and tasks as assigned.
Additional Information:
Awareness of information security, IT audit and IT risk management principles.
Demonstrated ability to work well in both an individual contributor and team capacity over several geographic locations
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to prepare clearly written, organized documents, reports and communications that can be circulated to all levels of the organization.
Able to interact in a professional manner and develop relationships with individuals and teams at any level of the organization as well as individuals from third party organizations.
We’re also looking for the preferred skills below. Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we’re happy to support your development in :
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Incident Response, Security Operations, Audit Management, Access Reviews, Third Party Risk Management, Process Improvement and Customer Support.
- Experience with one or more of the following: NIST, HIPAA, GLBA, ISO, PCI, DPPA, CPPA
Impact You'll Make:
Support internal and external audits through the management of audit evidence retrieval, collection, posting, communication and tracking.
Work with the team to identify security risk and exposures by participating in security reviews, evaluations, and assessments
Participating in day-to-day ad hoc information security activities including questions, issues, exception reviews and research.
Execute responsibilities associated with the business unit in a manner that meets relevant industry regulations, standards and compliance requirements.
Facilitate, and promote activities to create and improve information security awareness within the organization.
Assist with creating reports to identify trends and establish metrics.
