Trautman & Shreve is a full service mechanical contractor serving the Rocky Mountain region. T&S designs, builds, commissions and services mechanical systems, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and piping systems for private and public sector clients, including commercial, institutional, high tech, industrial, public assembly, and healthcare.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, peers, supervisors, administrative staff, field craft workers, field supervision, vendors, and subcontractors based on respect, trust and integrity.
- Create schedule of values, develop budget; materials and equipment buyout, approve and close purchase orders; approve CAD budget
- Subcontractor buyout, approve and coordinate change orders
- Negotiate and manage contract scope and changes
- Project startup staffing, kickoff; weekly project meetings in addition to owner coordination meetings and schedule maintenance
- Project closeout of purchase orders, subcontracts and system warranty letter
- Track job costs and final job cost projections
- Site mobilization/de-mobilization including original request for lay down area and utility hookup
- Project documentation – accurate and timely RFIs and submittals; deliver submittals to CAD
- Coordinate project specific safety requirements with safety superintendent and ensure compliance accordingly
- The specific daily tasks may vary by project type, project requirements, and project schedule.
Education and Experience
- Prior experience as a Project Manager on a HealthCare new build project
- Bachelor degree in construction, engineering, or related field AND six years of progressive construction experience; OR
- 12 years of progressive construction experience; OR
- Associate’s degree and 10 years of progressive construction experience
- Experience at the advanced level using Accubid, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with local municipal jurisdictional procedures with regard to plan reviews, permitting, applicable codes, inspections, etc.

Compensation Range: Minimum $95,000 and maximum $125,000 depending on experience
Other Compensation: this position is eligible for a bonus
