**Compensation Overview**
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

**What Is the Opportunity?**
Interested in using your passion for data and analytics to influence the employee experience? The Enterprise Customer Experience Journey Transformation team is looking for an ambitious individual to join the team as a critical resource in building best in class employee experiences through data.
As a Manager of Journey Analytics, you will combine data expertise, statistical principles, business understanding, relationship building, and communication skills that will help to advance analytical maturity and business outcomes. In this role, you will use data and exploratory analytics to surface actionable insights that influence business decisions and strategies in the Employee Experience discipline. In partnership with a cross-functional group, you will support the business in understanding the 'why' through measurement strategies and analytics. You will synthesize data across sources to inform the design of Minimum Viable Products, then design experiments to track progress and measure outcomes. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to directly enhance the employee experience at Travelers!
This role will be a great fit for an individual contributor looking to be a part of a cross-functional agile team with representation from Technology, Operations, Strategic Design and others. You will be an advocate for employee-centric, experience-driven initiatives with a foundation in data.

**What Will You Do?**
Work cross-functionally to support ad hoc and exploratory analysis that generate new learnings and insights and optimize our measurement strategy
Maintain and proactively monitor experiments and ensure that appropriate metrics and segments are measured and reported
Support hypothesis building, testing strategies, and best practice discussions across stakeholders
Determine and use appropriate techniques that may include diagnostic analysis, active monitoring and/or multivariate methods designed to answer business questions, test hypotheses, or assess impacts and results.
Explore and suggest new data and analytic tools, techniques, and industry best practices and apply them to business problems.
Design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to a cross-functional team.
Leverage existing organizational partnerships across functional teams to influence analytic outcomes.
In addition to excelling at the data and analytics responsibilities above, this role affords an opportunity to "get out of the data and analytics lane" and weigh in, challenge, and build on partner workstreams.
**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field, or a Business School Master's Degree with a concentration in a technical or analytical field
4 years of related data and analytic experience
Experience working on large-scale multidimensional data using intermediate knowledge of open-source cloud-enabled analytical programming languages
Experience using explanatory, diagnostic, and inferential techniques such as experimental design and hypothesis testing
Ensure timely completion of key deliverables across multiple related projects
Proven ability to forsee challenges and proactively look for ways to create more efficient processes for the business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain analyses and methodology with business partners
Proactively build and own professional business relationships
**What is a Must Have?**
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.
2 years of experience in quantitative analysis required.
