**Compensation Overview**
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

**What Is the Opportunity?**
Directs a team dedicated to Quality Assurance reviews of Business Units within the BI Operations organization. With limited supervision, will drive resolution of problems, changes in strategic direction, optimize operational effectiveness, effectively communicate, ensure compliance and quality, drive for productivity, train and educate as needed, facilitate system changes and rollouts, and act as the primary tactical liaison between Quality Assurance and each market Operations representative. Supervise a team within the QA organization and shall be responsible to provide coaching, development, direction, ensure high performance, strive to achieve objectives.
This position will be based in a Travelers' office and will follow the hybrid work location model.

**What Will You Do?**
Participates and/or initiates long and short term business strategies for respective function to continually enhance operational effectiveness enabling a competitive edge.
Drive initiation, planning, approval process and execution of new or existing projects and initiatives.
Prioritization of business objectives/deliverables.
Assesses current systems, best practices, quality, service and staff making adjustments to ensure organization stays in line with operations, marketing, sales, underwriting and product initiatives.
Review and analyze financial and operational results to monitoring operational effectiveness, taking corrective action as necessary. Provide analysis of management information to respective customers, working with them on tactical and strategic measures needed to improve results.
Act in a collaborative capacity with Field Operations, etc. to resolve problems/issues quickly. Establish priorities and make workflow decisions.
Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships through on-going dialogue within the management of each Market within an organization. Meet with them to assess operations performance and identify/resolve issues/problems.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal resources (e.g., Corp Audit, Operations, other Corp Partners, etc.) to coordinate the review of appropriate Corporate procedures.
Perform all necessary staff management functions to support profit, growth and expense management goals.
Perform all necessary staff development and coaching functions to support individual development, growth, progressive responsibilities, and career advancement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**
Bachelors degree and professional designations (CPCU, PMA, IAA) a plus.
Comprehensive Knowledge of:
Proven leadership skills, effective management abilities in dealing with diverse and complex issues affecting the success of the supported business organization.
Working knowledge of Travelers policies, practices and procedures.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively.
General Knowledge of:

**What is a Must Have?**
Minimum 7 years of experience in an Insurance related field required.
Minimum 5 years in an Operational Insurance experience required.
Minimum 2 years in a management role required.
