What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audiologist position at Traveling Private Hearing Healthcare Practice?
We are a growing, premier private hearing healthcare practice in the Humble, TX area currently seeking an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and can effectively counsel while building patient rapport. We are seeking an Audiologist who is self-motivated, provides exceptional patient care, and is committed to helping a practice grow. Our team is very engaged and works well together to provide a comforting and educational experience for patients.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Establish effective rapport with patients and their family members, setting realistic expectations regarding the patient’s hearing loss and hearing aid recommendations.
- Make ear impressions.
- Conduct Tinnitus Evaluations
- Conduct hearing aid fittings using best practices, including Lyric hearing aid fittings.
- Cerumen Management
- Maintain documentation and patient files.
- Market to doctors and other referral sources in the area and participate in community events.
Qualifications:
- Active TX hearing aid dispensing license Au.D
The successful Audiologist will also possess the following:
- Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
- Great communication, both verbal and written Strong computer skills Great follow-up skills Good at problem solving.

We offer an attractive compensation package and a lucrative commission program, full benefit package, paid holidays/vacation after 90 days and a 401K and cash balance pension plan option after a year. Also, student loan repayment bonus of $10K after 1 year of service.
