About The Position
Stepdown PATIENT RATIO OF at least 1:3 Must have at least 1 year of ICU or IICU stepdown exp and large teaching hospital size exp. Must have previous ICU or IICU stepdown experience with acuity of at least 3:1 and ventilator experience preferred. Must have experience with trauma related injuries such as head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and surgical care that are common on our unit Average Daily Census 20 (21 beds total) Staffing Ratios 7 RNs, 3:1 maximum *MUST HAVE CRITICAL CARE EXP. Epic experience preferred previous ICU experience or minimal experience with acuity of at least 1:3 preferred. Locals accepted: YES if over 100 miles or 50 miles for Night shift Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs. Full BR granted at 100 miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible.Adult Multi-SpecialtyAdult Medical Tele / Adult Cardiac Tele / Progressive CareAll RRTException 2: Below specialties must be 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville). Full BR granted at 100 miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible.Operating Room (including allied and SPT)Cath Lab (including allied)CT / MRI / IR Techs / Echo TechsMLTs, SLPs, PTs, OTs, Dietitians Adult ICU- Will consider nurses with 1 years of recent experience in unit.- Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal.- Orientation is every Monday.- Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.-EMR experience: 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required- If you have any issues, please let the Account Manager or your CS know ASAP.
