Overview
TRC is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support our Building Science and Industrial Hygiene practice in our Windsor, CT office.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all phases of prepping and analysis of building materials for asbestos by Polarized Light Microscopy
- Analysis of radon samples and preparation of subsequent reports
- Support of the Air Measurement Group by preparing chemical solutions and analyzing particulate samples
- Calculate, check and report data in accordance with applicable SOP's.
- QA/QC Analysis
- Knowledge of safe laboratory practices, including the proper procedures in handling chemicals and unknown environmental samples.
- Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology or related fields.
- 1-5 years of lab analysis experience with microscopy required.
