What are the responsibilities and job description for the L&D Assistant position at TRC Staffing?
TRC Staffing is looking to hire a L&D Assistant for a company that specializes in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries.
- Manage the departmental calendar(s) to include Learning event enrollment, scheduling and logistics of all related activities
- Lead the preparation, duplication, inventory and shipping of all department collateral training materials
- Administer education programs (i.e. Love Scholarship, MBA, etc.)
- Making coffee and preparing service for in person events
- Managing catering/lunch cards for Talent & Learning in person events. Coordination of details with in house or external vendors
- Administer the Georgia Retraining Tax Credit application process by providing appropriate associate training records
- Other administrative tasks include processing invoices, setting vendors in the payable system, purchasing office supplies, coordinating training materials, etc. (**if contract labor is allowed to process invoices)
Ideal
- Regular use of Workday Learning including data input, and pulling reports (not creating reports)
- Assists team with tasks such as PowerPoint creation, Excel sheet creation, Forms creation, data gathering,
- Fills producer role for virtual, instructor-led facilitation.
- Coordinate all Learning and Development events at the company’s Headquarters including Leadership Development, Soft Skills, and other workshops/meetings. Coordination will include scheduling, enrollment, building of and production of workshop materials, set up, and follow up. Market Learning and Development offerings via email and internal modes of communication
- Significant Microsoft Office Skills in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, and PowerPoint
- Above average organizational skills and time management skills
- Education: HS Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum required skills to perform the job
