Capper Operator

TRC Talent has a temp-to-hire position for a Capper Machine Operator in Mineral Wells, TX. This is a first shift position.

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and using manufacturing equipment and tools and follow established processes and procedures safely to produce quality products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate specified machinery with assistance from Supervisor, Lead, or support personnel
• Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling
• Monitor machine operation and material availability
• Verify that production parts and processes conform to applicable work instructions
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Follow the 5S system
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous machine operating experience preferred
• Perform all functions of assembly
• Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust controls
• Ability to quickly choose and correctly respond to a signal requiring action
• Ability to recognize when equipment requires maintenance or repair
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs consistently

• 1st shift: 5am - 3:30pm
