TRC serves a broad range of clients in industry and government, implementing complex projects from initial concept to delivery and operation.
TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Field Services Interns for our Summer 2023 intern program out of our Lancaster, PA office. This is a paid temporary position. Anticipated duration is June 2023 through August 2023 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced TRC Commissioning Engineers.
Overview:
- Testing and Commissioning of protective relays for electrical transmission & distribution substations.
- Works under supervision of Experienced TRC staff to test and verify substation protection & control system functionality.
- Become familiar with various types of test equipment.
- Become familiar with testing & commissioning processes and procedures
- Read and interpret design drawings to understand engineering design and confirm intent.
- Must have strong electrical fundamental understanding.
