POSITION TITLE:  Environmental Services Supervisor    JOB CODE #:  330-202

REPORTS TO:      Environmental Services Manager

DEPARTMENT:     Environmental Services                     

POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION:  Environmental Services Attendant/s

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supervise Environmental Services Attendants to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance for the entire facilities.

TASKS:

1.         Supervise Environmental Services Attendants.

2.         Maintains log books to record departmental problems

3.         Maintain equipment and supply log books

4.         Maintain restroom cleaning log books

5.         Clean and care for all casino interior, exterior, and fort

6.         Organize crews and assign daily jobs and duties

7.         Take daily inventory of equipment and supplies

8.         Check equipment and supplies out and in to crew members

9.         Report any problems or needs to the Public Area Manager

10.       Do hourly walk through of facility checking for any areas that need attention

11.       Check cleanliness of slot banks and table game pits

12.       Check cleanliness of bathrooms

13        Check cleanliness of mirrors and glass throughout casino

14.       Check cleanliness of escalators and elevators, including tracks

15.       Check cleanliness of employee areas and hallways

16.       Check cleanliness of all casino and fort dining areas

17.       Check cleanliness of all Public Area storage areas

18.       Oversee timely completion of project work, such as:  floor stripping/refinishing, carpet       cleaning, detail cleaning of table game pits and dining areas

19.       Operate, clean, and maintain various cleaning machines; i.e. vacuums, floor machines, etc.

20.       Reports all safety hazards to appropriate personnel

21.       Complies with company and department policies and procedures

22.       Demonstrates interpersonal skill to work productively with others

23.       Plus any/all tasks deemed necessary by Supervisor.

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED: 

High school graduate or equivalent.  One (1) year supervisory experience.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

The following activities are normally required to perform these functions:  stand,  walk,  bend,  reach,  read,  write,  eye to hand coordination,  depth perception,  effective verbal communication,  strong math skills,  excellent organizational skills, able to lift in excess of 50 lb. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 30 lb. or more.

HAZARDS:

Include but are not limited to:  neck and back strain, eye strain, stress and related disorders, and exposure to cleaning chemicals and bodily fluids.
