Plant Manager

Tree Brand Packaging, a family-owned manufacturer of custom pallets, skids, and crates, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the team in their Ranburne, AL facility, just a short drive from Carrollton, GA!

If you have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year school and at least 5 years of experience of senior-management within the manufacturing industry, this is an opportunity you need to explore! Experience in the wood industry, automation, and Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma are huge pluses!

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including scheduling, production/operations, safety, quality, maintenance, procurement, customer service, logistics/driver management, & readiness for the assigned plant(s), ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Prepare the annual business plan and forecast.
• Partner with human resources to manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Develop strategic plans to optimize productivity and reduce manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
• Maintain verbal and written correspondence with management and co-workers and exercise a strong documentation system.
• Lead and actively participate in daily production meetings; Oversee and coordinate daily production and maintain a production schedule assuring on-time delivery of all orders.
• Develop and implement manufacturing plans and standards, which include managing materials, equipment, and labor to meet business needs.
• Build or improve procedures, ensuring they are documented.
• Collect and report data necessary to track performance and lead problem-solving and Continuous Improvement efforts.
