SUMMARY: To issue parts and supplies for Production and Maintenance departments. Provide data entry in support of inventory and maintenance computer systems. Issue parts to all mechanics. Receive and ship inventory as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adjust inventory levels in Movex. Input and issue parts and data from work orders into Movex. Parts Assist II can relieve this position.
There is one second shift position available 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm and one third shift position available 9:30 pm - 6:00 am
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices.
It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action.

- Maintain Inventories; Shipping and Receiving Materials:
- Determine correct parts and supply levels
- Organize, label, and maintain parts room layout and shelving
- Maintain inventory levels
- Use movex to track inventory levels
- Check stock to determine inventory levels
- Anticipate needed materials
- Place and expedite orders for materials
- Verify the receipt of materials; checking merchandise for damage and verifying freight bills
2. Data entry into Movex:
- Input retro work orders into Movex
- Issue parts to work orders
- Input data generated from inspection checklists into work requests
- Input scheduled work orders and service definitions
- Print work orders
- Maintain accurate work list and work order bins
3. Communicate Effectively:
- Exchange information with co-workers and management
- Research parts and equipment for proper application
- Answer questions
- Input and generate data
- Complete forms
4. Complete Paperwork:
- Review “Purchase Requests” and follow-up on any discrepancies with the appropriate persons
- Receive parts and compare packing lists to parts received
5. Utilize Tools and Equipment:
- Drive company vehicles to pick up parts from local vendors
- Use computer system to maintain inventory
- Use standard office equipment as needed (copy and fax machines, etc.)
- Keep parts office and room clean and follow GMP’s
6. Maintain Master Stock of Items and Historical Reference of Supplies, Equipment, and Services
- Update specification files
7. Maintain Shipping and Receiving Materials
- Check stock to determine inventory level
- Anticipate needed materials
- Verify the receipt of materials; checking merchandise for damage and verifying freight bills
8. Provide Information
- Answer questions
- Input and generate data
- Complete forms
9. Contribute to Team Effort
- Accomplishing related results as needed
10. Produce Information
- Input, edit, and retrieve text and data
- Make copies
11. Fill Item Requests
- Identify items requested
- Issue parts from stock
- Verify customer requests
12. Complete Purchase Requests
- Check and verify specifications and inventory
- Code and complete request forms
- Obtain supervisor approval
13. Lock-Out Tag-Out:
- Make sure to have a complete and clear understanding of all Lock-out Tag-out procedures
- Use proper Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures at all times (washing/cleaning machinery, etc.)
14. Maintain Safe and Clean Working Environment
- Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
15. Maintain a Clean, Safe Work Area:
- Sweep floors and remove debris
- Keep work area clean and rinse when necessary
- Follow proper cleaning procedures:
- Follow proper handling procedures when working with chemicals
- Maintains area of responsibility to meet GMP standards
- Follow LOTO (lock out/ tag out) procedures when necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Washington State Driver’s License
TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Efficient in computer knowledge.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
