Quality Lab Technician

Job Summary:
Performs testing on production and requested samples to required test methods.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Perform physical testing on fabrics in accordance with ASTM, Federal, Military, AATCC, company and/or customer test methods
• Enter test data into database and clearly communicate results to required personnel
• Maintain testing equipment, performing periodic calibration checks, as required
• Maintain lab records, including storage of records and sample retains, per procedure
• Answer inquires regarding test results and factors that influence test results
• All other duties, as assigned

Experience:

• At least two years’ experience in a quality function
• Analytical skills
• Intermediate computers skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP and Axxos
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team-oriented, ability to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.26 - $24.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
