Job Title:

People Systems Leader

Role Overview:

Manages Human Resource Information Systems and supporting team.

  • ERP, Human Capital Management knowledge, experience completing end to end software deployment.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday HCM, Timekeeping and Payroll functionality.
  • Spearhead the design, user testing, and implementation of new report development and system enhancements, as well as system break fixes.
  • Troubleshoot issues, reporting, design, configuration, and testing to implement solutions to drive adoption and ease of use of Workday applications.
  • Ensure data integrity in Workday in support of HR and Payroll business processes.
  • Regularly evaluate current state of systems and new Workday functionality to identify and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and/or new applications to support business strategies and operational needs
  • Clearly articulate the merits and disadvantages of solution options to support informed decisions by stakeholders. Communicate system issues and/or enhancements in a clear and concise manner. Simplify technical language to effectively communicate with non-technical users.
  • Provide People Services team with direction and support in maintenance and support activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, People Services, People Analytics, IT on changes, from planning through execution.
  • Engage with Workday Support and other third-party vendors for support and project activities as needed.
  • Be the champion for Workday optimization and provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with Process Owners to understand pain points, identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiencies
  • Responsible for maintenance of HCM business rules, configurations, security model and performing all necessary system updates as needed.
  • Take lead in evaluating quarterly release, working with IT and COE leads in testing , identifying impacts, documenting changes and training core team on new functionalities.
  • Monitor Workday community to stay abreast of best practices, new features and Implement value added features.
  • Work closely with the external Vendor teams, HR and Payroll COE, IT, end users and be responsible for the day to day Workday support for the global HR team.
  • Workday Tenant management 
  • Lead and Support year-end and other annual HR cycle activities as needed.
  • Partner closely with our IT team to continuously improve Workday Service Delivery processes that ensure fast time to value and an engaging experience for our stakeholders.
