Warehouse Laborer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the smooth operations in warehouse
• Supporting our field personnel by staging supplies and equipment for upcoming projects.
• Provide professional customer service to all customers
• Accountable for the movement and appearance of all materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse
• Assisting the BRS manager with a high level of service and efficiency.
• Strengthen existing relations with current vendors / suppliers.
• Electronic (software/barcode) and physical receiving, tracking and stocking of materials and equipment
• Fill supply requisitions
• Pick up / Deliver Supplies when necessary
• Ensure there is sufficient stock for BRS work crews
• Prepare for weekly Remediation Projects including materials, supplies, and equipment
• Loading of all trucks and trailers
• Equipment maintenance, repair, disinfecting and calibrating
• General maintenance of facilities, building, plumbing
• Oversee Vehicle -Fleet Service (PM) schedules and expedite vehicle service

Job Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse work
• Mechanical abilities include small engine knowledge and repair
• Must be able to deal with all levels of management.
• Lifting heavy items and working with chemicals
• Overnight absences not required, but can be broached during an emergency call.
• Computer literate
• This position requires extreme flexibility with an ability to handle several tasks at once
• Position requires the ability to set priorities and to follow up on tasks delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
• rganizational skills
• This position will require the ability to assume additional responsibilities as the firm continues to grow or as needed by the immediate supervisor.
• General Mechanical abilities for equipment repair and troubleshooting.

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20-$28.50. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
