Entry Level-Business Systems Analyst

• Job Responsibilities:

Job Description:

• Studying the business function, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
• Elicit and document functional requirements and test strategies for technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Work on projects /operation support activities assigned by the managers, complying with the expected quality and deliverables due dates.
• Respond proactively to both business and project issues and escalate appropriately.
• Prepare draft presentations for management meetings.
• Document meeting results/outcome for follow-up action(s) and next steps.
• Participate in research activities and contribute to and prepare recommendation reports based on analysis
• Work "on job" shadowing in the assigned area.
• Work along the year on the agreed development goals.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science, or IT related degree
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on Salesforce
• Proactivity in identification and resolution of issues
• Ability to work in diverse, decentralized teams across diverse cultures
• High degree of creativity
• Motivated to learn new things

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree - all majors encouraged to apply, especially business and finance
• 0-1 years of professional experience
• Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, effective communication skills, and overall positive attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of SQL/Python preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while under pressure
• Candidates must be willing to relocate

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Reston, VA 20191: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
