Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion within budget and on schedule. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Review and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
- Estimate project costs and prepare detailed project proposals
- Procure necessary materials and equipment for project execution
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize project efficiency and productivity
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and milestones
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations (NEC)
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, electrical engineering principles, interpert contract documents, understand and provide scopes of work and project schedules
- Experience with project management software such as Conest and or ProCore
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
