Medical Assistant
Overview: We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant at our outpatient podiatric private practice in Pasco, Washington. Our small office provides a supportive and close-knit working environment with a priority for high-quality patient care.
MA Responsibilities include but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting medical histories and medications, preparing x-rays, sanitizing rooms and medical instruments, corresponding with other medical offices, insurance companies, and patients. The position requires data entry, coordination with reception, communicating with patients, filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing, and other duties as requested; and complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). MA Certification is not required. All training will be provided.
MA Qualifications - REQUIRED: Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED); one year experience in healthcare setting; proficiency with computers and communication skills; attention to detail.

Environmental Factors: The employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit.
