Job Title: Laborer and Machinery Operator
Position Overview: Tri-County Electric is seeking a skilled individual to fulfill the role of Laborer and Machinery Operator. This position combines hands-on labor, machinery operation, and various construction tasks, including concrete work, sidewalk repair, trenching, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy machinery such as trenchers, excavators, backhoes, and concrete mixers safely and proficiently to perform assigned tasks.
Conduct trenching and excavation activities to prepare sites for construction projects.
Perform concrete-related tasks, including mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete for sidewalks, curbs, and other structures.
Repair and replace damaged sections of sidewalks and curbs, maintaining smoothness, alignment, and aesthetics.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects effectively, coordinating machinery operation with labor activities to meet project timelines.
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when operating heavy machinery and performing manual labor, prioritizing the safety of oneself and others on the job site.
Assist with general labor duties as needed, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, and contributing to cleanup and site maintenance efforts.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in operating heavy machinery, trenching, excavation, concrete work, and sidewalk repair.
Proficiency in the safe operation of heavy machinery, including knowledge of equipment controls, functions, and maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with trenching and excavation, concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing methods, and the use of hand tools and power equipment.
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Must speak English
$20-$40 Base on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
