Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and installing cabinets and other wooden fixtures. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in masonry, carpentry, and cabinet installation.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble cabinets according to blueprints and specifications and ensure accurate and high-quality work
- Perform trim carpentry work to ensure a seamless finish
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Estimate materials and labor costs for construction projects
- Restore and repair existing cabinets as needed
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Extreme attention to detail
- Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Knowledge in grain matching
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, and construction techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Cabinet Maker
- Proficient in masonry, carpentry, and cabinet installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, and construction techniques
- Skilled in using power tools and hand tools effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with Custom Projects
