Job Title: Services Coordinator
Reports to: Project Choices Director
Work Location: Lansing, MI
Base work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours/full time)
Compensation: $18.83/hr, $39,166/yr plus comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer paid pension.
Telecommuting is an option following six (6) months of employment.
General Responsibilities: Responsible for setting up and scheduling services for Project Choices participants. Has primary responsibility for Self Determination administrative duties and processes.

- Develops and maintains a system for ordering participant services with Home Health Care, Personal Emergency Response (PERS), electronic medication dispensers and meal providers, as authorized by Supports Coordinators. Provides appropriate follow-through when changes occur.
- Maintain relationships and necessary communication with service providers.
- Responsible for coordinating the Self Determination option between participants, Supports Coordinators and Fiscal Intermediaries.
- Maintain communication with Fiscal Intermediaries regarding participants utilizing the Self Determination option.
- Works closely with the Finance department to ensure timely reconciliation with Fiscal Intermedaries.
- Provides support to Project Choices Administrative Assistants as needed.

- Ability to meet department standards with regard to job knowledge, participant focus, initiative, productivity, communication, teamwork and attendance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s Degree in Human Services or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience with community services preferred.
- Administrative and basic accounting experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- The work environment varies. When in the office, safe work practices in regard to use of office equipment, avoiding trips/falls and adhering to fire regulations is required.
- Physical mobility is required for sitting, walking, standing, bending and lifting/holding/carrying objects of up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to move around in multiple locations with varying physical environments & barriers.
- Ability to enter and access information using a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and vendors in person, virtually and over the telephone.
- Sensory requirements include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, environments and activities.
- Mental requirements include the ability to handle varying and intense levels of stress.
