DRIVER RECRUITER
Tri-National, Inc., a fast-growing, truck load carrier in a JIT environment, located in St. Charles, MO, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Recruiting Department as Driver Recruiter. This position would be direct support to the Director of Recruiting in carrying out the responsibilities of the Department and ensuring the company DOT compliance in its day-to-day operations. TNi has dedicated itself to providing seamless service for the trading partners in Mexico, US, and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with potential new hires about the benefits of being a TNi Driver
- Cold call potential candidates
- Receive and input Driver resumes and applications into Tenstreet
- Pre-qualify new hires
- Assist with Driver processing, including background, MVR, and DAC screens, employment verifications, scheduling physicals, drug tests, orientation, and complete the hiring process
- Assist with the weekly reporting and driver retention
- Assist with safety issues and other TNi Recruiting needs as requested
Preferred Requirements and Skills:
- 1-3 years of prior recruiting experience, a plus in Transportation/Trucking
- Knowledge of Transportation/Trucking
- Knowledge of JIT Freight
- Possesses good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and has a positive attitude
- Background in Human Resources/Recruiting, a plus
