TRI Property Management Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, motivated and proactive individual who is looking to join a company where building great relationships is more than just a tagline. We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of a Community Director in the Student Housing Sector located in Berkeley, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a vibrant and inclusive community for students, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee day to day operations of the student housing community.
  • Develop & implement programs to enhance the student living experience.
  • Foster a sense of community through events, activities, and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage resident relations and address concerns or issues promptly.
  • Supervise residential staff and contribute to staff development.
  • Communicate priorities effectively and appropriately with supervisors, residents, vendors, and staff.
  • Project superior project management skills while coordinating move ins, move outs, and turns.
  • Ensure community safety programs and protocols are consistently communicated to staff as well as all company policies and goals.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies students coming in each semester.
  • Market community to ensure full occupancy.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year experience in the student housing sector
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local and state fair housing regulations.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive community.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and AppFolio Property Management Software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance & reliable transportation.
  • Must pass credit and background screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
