SENIOR PRODUCT OWNER- Telephony / Cloud VoIP / Automotive Dealership Management Solutions

This job description outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for a Senior Product Owner position at a technology-based Dealer Management Solutions company.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Strategy and Roadmap Development :

Collaborate with the VP of Product to refine product vision and roadmaps.Represent customer voices in product development initiatives.

Set clear priorities for development and engineering teams.Communicate project priorities and timelines to partners.Develop product business cases with measurable success metrics.

Collaboration and Coordination :

Coordinate with internal teams for product development and implementation.Align with engineering and IT departments for resource allocation.

Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive analysis.

Quality Assurance :

Support quality management efforts to meet product specifications.Work with internal teams for adequate testing and addressing product issues.

Customer Success and Relationship Management :

Ensure effective customer communication regarding product development.Develop strong relationships with development partners.

Develop product stories for customer awareness.Foster internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Leadership and Professional Development :

Maintain industry knowledge as a subject matter expert.Collaborate for continuous improvement in company operations.

Qualifications and Skills :

Educational Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business, or related field.Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Project Management is a plus.

Experience :

Minimum 8 years in product management.At least 5 years in a SaaS, technology-driven platform, or agile software development environment.

Telephony / Cloud VoIP Automotive DMS industry experience is strongly preferred.

Skills :

Market and customer research for product strategy development.Data-driven innovation skills.Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Strategic thinking and interdepartmental collaboration skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
