Job Title: Training & Development Coordinator

Summary of the Position:
Under the direction of the CHRO, the Training & Development Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a company-wide learning strategy. In partnership and collaboration with management across the organization, the Training & Development Manager will lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of inclusive and accessible learning and development solutions in support of TriState’s strategic initiatives.
Primary Functions of the Position:
Works in partnership with the CHRO, business leaders, and department managers on the creation and rollout of training programs that support the needs of the organization- Identifies and assesses current and future training needs through consultation with managers and business leaders
- Conducts needs analysis at every level of the organization to develop new training programs, enhance existing programs, and/or acquire external training services. Consults with subject matter experts to ensure relevancy of learning objectives and delivery methodology.
- Partners with management to ensure successful specific job training needs in the organization.
- Develops and documents training tools and processes, including instruction manuals, job aides, presentations and webinars.
- Designs, monitors and manages learning project and process metrics that are aligned to business strategy. Reports on the effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant data to revise or recommend changes to instructional methods or objectives.
- Identifies and implements programs for leadership and high potential development
- Works closely with the CHRO and the Employee Engagement Manager on corporate culture and development initiatives
- Coordinates new employee onboarding process and training; conducts new hire orientation
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Organization Development, or related field, required. Master’s Degree preferred.- 10 years of experience in learning, management and leadership development, and organizational development and consulting

- Experience building learning and talent programs for the development and retention of critical positions and high-demand talent
- Skilled at developing and managing relationships with external vendor partners for training support
- Knowledge of learning theory, instructional design, adult learning principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing training and development communications
- Experience selecting and managing vendor relations
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills both in person and virtual
- Strong communication, influencing, and consulting skills with the ability to organize and express ideas clearly, position thoughts and perspectives effectively, and influence for support of shared projects and outcomes
- Strong knowledge of Windows technology and Microsoft Office applications
