Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Tri-State Trading, a leading national grocery distributor based in Charlotte since 1987, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. Position Details:

Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Hours: Monday-Friday, 20-25 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Salary: Starting from $18 per hour

Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Accurate data entry into various software systems

· Communication with customers and trucking companies via phone and email

· Processing and filing bills and payments

· Utilizing Microsoft Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to maintain records and assist with various tasks

· Collaborating with a customer-driven team focused on providing exceptional service

· Managing telephone and digital communications with a high level of professionalism

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

· Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

· Prior experience in administrative or clerical roles is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
