Triangle Engineering Inc is a third generation family business located in Hanover, MA. We manufacture weld test coupons, destructive test equipment and welding stands used for training and qualification.

This position is direct oversight of the manufacturing of specialized industrial equipment and materials used for destructive testing in the welding industry. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully perform tasks described below. Candidate reports to Plant Manager and President. A successful candidate in this role would develop into Plant Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversight of the entire fabrication and assembly process (which includes sawing, machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, testing, and finishing), ensuring that;

• Production is efficient and cost effective.
• Products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Effective coordination of resources.
• Inventory management control.
• Improving process where applicable.

Responsible for organizing and managing materials, equipment, personnel and work sequence in an efficient manner for fabrication and assembly. Must identify in a timely manner all tools, materials and personnel required to complete tasks efficiently.

Maintain and enforce standardized fabrication and assembly procedures.

Update and implement fabrication work documents (dimensional data sheets, shop travelers, etc.)

Maintain and enforce quality control standards.

Assist with research and development of equipment design modifications and improvements.

Identify and resolve any issues with personnel, equipment, fabricated and purchased components.

Responsible for identifying and correcting deficiencies in manufacturing and assembly process.

Accurately documenting design modifications and improvements.

Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, safe and orderly.

Maintain Company quality records.

Supervising, training, motivating and discipling personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years minimum experience in manufacturing process management.

Degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or similar.

Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite. QuickBooks experience a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to supervise diverse workforce using effective listening, coaching, training, problem-solving skills, taking initiative, sound judgment and time management in fast-paced environment.

Understanding and enforcement of industry safety standards.

Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment such as; mechanical assembly, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, finishing, CNC machining and Plasma cutting, Saw cutting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
