Job Summary: Per Diem (M-F) Surgical Technologist
We are currently looking for a well-qualified Surgical Technologist to be responsible for the daily operations of our multi-specialty surgery center. Must have strong knowledge and experience in Sterile Processing, ENT, Spine and Pain.
Qualifications
Requirements needed to apply for the Surgical Technologist opening:
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology
- Current BCLS Certification
- 5 years of experience scrubbing in an outpatient setting
- Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
Summary of Essential Job Functions of the Medical Assistant:
- Able to clean and sterilize instruments/equipment and maintains necessary functions of the sterile processing department
- Secure and prepare all supplies required for surgical intervention
- Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field in OR
- Strong knowledge in ENT, Spine, Pain, Plastic and Ortho procedures
- Purchasing experience a plus, but not required
- Stocking of supplies, environmental cleaning and crossover duties in the peri-operative area
