Maintenance

Seeking an organized maintenance man for full time employment to support a year-round farm with manufacturer’s maintenance needs. Referenceable experience in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems with the basic skills to troubleshoot and repair issues is required. Additionally, knowledge of small engine repair as well mechanical knowledge to maintain vehicles and farm equipment is a must. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have a valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation. Compensation dependent on experience. Will be required to apply and receive OMMA Credentials.

Job Duties include but are not limited to the following: Oversees and maintains warehouse, greenhouses, light dep, lab, propagation maintenance. Tasks include minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, installing equipment, machinery. In charge of maintaining inventory, maintenance lists for facility, warehouse operations. Maintains farm trucks, buggies and any other vehicles, equipment needing attention. Communicates with department managers, contractors, electricians regarding facility needs. Plan with Cultivation manager for all facility needs. Works closely with assistant manager of fields and irrigation and shares responsibility of reefer trailer upkeep/propane and diesel ordering/generator maintenance/inventory and maintenance lists/plumbing projects and all other large maintenance projects. Oversees and maintains regular ac unit/ dehumidifier filter changes for all buildings. Keeps tool Conex clean and organized. Checks in and out tools/keys to vehicles and buggies. Tracks and documents freezer temps. Power wash freezers. Occasional weed eating and mowing. Collect and dispose of trash from all departments. Clean warehouse drain. Maintain black out curtain along fence line. Check, fix and maintain fence line around entire property. Maintain burn pit. Clean all water filters in greenhouses and warehouse. Keep light dep wet wall clean and filters changed.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
