Who are we looking for: We are looking for an energetic, intelligent, and driven Test Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. You will be working on a new set of cloud products supporting continuous testing and effortless automation for enterprise applications. Although based in Pune, India, it is not unusual for a team to be composed of members from across the globe. Our teams generally adhere to the Scrum/Agile framework. You will be responsible for the quality assurance of Tricentis Test Management product qTest. You will define, design and implement innovative ways to push our products to the edge and ensure it can provide the reliability, scalability and availability our customers expect from Tricentis products. Responsibilities · Collaborate within and across the teams to design and develop a fit for purpose solution. Define a goal behind a set of tests and build a conclusive test strategy to reach that goal. Plan and execute effective test scenarios as per the acceptance criteria in user stories. Design effective test automation scripts. Develop documentation/presentation to share the analysis/test results. Participate in daily standups and refinement sessions, contribute constructively into the discussion, provide expert opinion and valuable inputs. Plan and build necessary infrastructure required for application deployment and testing. Build, maintain and improve the Continuous Delivery platform with the growing need of the application. Monitor production systems to identify pattern of failures and potential bottlenecks and bring most common scenarios under test coverage Bring new ideas to emulate complex scenarios while testing applications. Stay updated on the latest communications happening in company/team channels. · Continuously educate yourself on latest technologies, patterns, and practices. Skillset Needed: 3 years of experience overall working as a Test Automation Engineer. Thorough knowledge of Software Testing fundamentals and processes. Strong expertise with at least one test automation tool/framework (Selenium/Protractor/Tosca) Strong expertise in devising meaningful and targeted test scenarios for a given application feature. Strong expertise in documenting test-results/observations in meaningful and self-explanatory way for both technical/non-technical stakeholders. Exposure of working in an Agile development environment. Experience with API testing and a good understanding of how API works with tools/frameworks like Postman/Newman/Jmeter/RestAPI/Tosca. Experience working with at least one Relational Database (MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) If you’ve got some of the following, even better: Experience with Containerization ecosystem (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience working with at least one CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/CircleCI etc.) Experience with Tricentis qTest application is a plus. Able to write code in any one programming/scripting language. Exposure to penetration or performance testing.
