What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Coordinator position at Tricor, LLC?
If you are an amazing individual looking to collaborate on a daily basis with a fantastic team and company, we are looking for you! We are seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator to assist our New Build team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to project accounting.
- Coordinate with the Accounting team.
- Assist in scheduling needed Team’s conference calls.
- Prepare unit takeoffs and budgets.
- Assist Project Manager in preparing bid packages, RFP, RFI’s , Change Orders, Permitting, and Contracts.
- Understand necessary jurisdictional compliance requirements for each project.
- Understand the terms of the TRICOR contracts and subcontracts.
- Register all necessary company paperwork in each required municipality
- Generate subcontractor agreements, coordinate any revisions, and files executed versions.
- Generate purchase orders in BuilderTrend for review by Project Manager.
- Onboard subcontractors and consultants into BuilderTrend software.
- Assist with payment applications and subcontractor’s invoices for Client.
- Assist with subcontractor invoicing, PO payments, company invoices, and payments on a project-by-project basis.
- Process subcontractor and vendor invoices accurately and within assigned timeline.
- Assist with subcontractors Certificates of Insurance.
- Assist with Lien Release waivers on all projects.
- Assist with the Bid Tracker and Project Tracker for all projects.
- Ensure all aspects of BuilderTrend are current for all projects.
- Assist Project Manager in speaking with supplier(s) and vendor(s) to determine product type, specification, price, warranty, etc on various product types.
- Obtain samples for each material selection, as needed.
- Assist with identifying key subcontractors in each market based on supplier relationship(s).
- Assist in producing a specification documents.
- Assist in creating warranty manual for projects, if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school education required; college education preferred.
- Knowledge of the principles and applications of building construction a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel 123)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
