Responsible for answering phone, making reservations, meeting and greeting all arriving guests, showing and helping guests to campsites or rental units, creating the first impression of the resort. This also includes the safety and well-being of all members and guests. Position requires day and evening hours, holiday and weekend shift work.
DUTIES
Duties include: Meeting/Greeting arriving guests.
Member/Guest check-in and checkout.
Regular patrols of the resort.
Enforcement of rules and regulations.
Provide superior guest services on the phone or in person, by being enthusiastic, attentive, friendly and helpful.
Handle all guest's issues with respect.
Greet all guests with a positive attitude, smile, recognition, and a well groomed appearance and proper uniform and name tag.
Follow all guidelines and procedures regarding the handling of registrations, reservations and refunds.
Follow specific cash and credit card handling procedures.
Light housekeeping and maintenance.
Promote your local attractions as well as on site organized activities.
Back up and coordinate communication for all departments.
Attend staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction.
Must be able to work alone.
Must have the ability to complete camper registration paperwork and assign campsites.
General knowledge of computer operations.
Must have the ability to effectively enforce resort rules.
Must possess excellent guest service skills.
Must have valid Drivers License.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
