Job Summary:
The Field Supervisor is critical to the success of Trident’s mission and values. You are the eyes and ears of the Company, and the first line of support for our Security Specialists. These tasks listed below provide a basic guide of your daily duties. However, this is a leadership role in the security industry. As such, the nature of this role requires flexibility.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
- Ensure all active posts (including temporary or ad-hoc jobs) are properly covered at all times during your shift. This includes handling call off’s and finding suitable coverage as needed. This may include standing down at posts where suitable coverage cannot be found.
- Oversee the workflow, schedules, and assignments of the Security Specialists across multiple locations.
- Inspect every active post and Security Specialist at least once per week to ensure the quality and compliance in the following areas:
- Security Specialist well-being, including health and safety
- Compliance with Customer requirements
- Compliance with TRIDENT requirements
- Uniform quality and compliance
- Post orders are always up to date and relevant.
- Receive, document, and escalate Security Specialist questions and concerns.
- Provide ongoing documented field training for new and existing officers.
- Ensure every new officer is visited at least once per shift for the first week of their employment. Answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions, and provide information as needed, referring and escalating issues to the appropriate resources as needed.
- Respond to and report all emergency situations during your shift.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities as required by the Company, such as equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.

Required Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Must have at least two years of supervisory experience in the security industry.
Required License/Certifications:
- Must possess a valid/current Alabama Driver’s License.
- Must possess a valid/current Alabama ASRB guard card.

Working Environments/Physical Requirements:
- You are required to drive a company vehicle between sites.
- You are required to work at multiple locations across varying conditions.
- You are required to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions.
- You are required to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Reporting Structure & Classification:
- The Field Supervisor is a full-time hourly non-exempt role that reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Schedule:
- The Field Supervisor position will work varying hours including days and nights, weekends and holidays.The individual must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the Company.
