Position Summary
We are seeking junior candidates who are passionate about applying test engineering to support cyber testing and integration for the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). This position is contingent upon contract award.

The selected candidate will work onsite in Orlando, Florida. The person in this role will apply fundamental test engineering concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on multiple complex work assignments. Under the supervision of senior test engineers, the Junior Test Engineer will help design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. This person assists with developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated test scripts and architectures for application products. The Junior Test Engineer will help evaluate test cases and provide regular progress reports during all phases of testing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to perform pioneering work on multiple challenging assignments. This role requires originality, innovation, and energy to help develop and implement test engineering capabilities in support of cyber T&E, training, and exercises.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the design, planning, and execution of cyber test events and exercises.
• Assist with the planning and execution of Cyber Table Top (CTT) events.
• Support risk management with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and tools selection.
• Analyze test cases and contribute to progress reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Follow established procedures to assist with test execution, and support post-test analysis.
• Attend meetings and working groups.
• Anticipated travel is 10%.

Requirements and Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong desire to learn and employ test engineering concepts to support cyber testing.
• Fundamental understanding of basic IT and cybersecurity concepts, or a strong desire to learn.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, except in limited circumstances where legally entitled to an accommodation.
