Job Profile
Based in Sacramento, California, Trifecta is the largest meal delivery service made with organic ingredients in the US. We provide a variety of fully cooked meal options for customers to choose from that match their ideal dietary and lifestyle goals from paleo, keto, vegan, and clean eating. Scrum Master is a key role in facilitating the Scrum process with product development teams. They help their teams adapt and improve in the agile principles and methodologies. Scrum Masters are servant leaders guiding teams to continuously improve to higher levels of maturity by continually learning through inspection and adaptation. They serve as the Scrum Framework authority for the teams and evangelize and educate teams on, not only the process but the true benefits of following the process. The Scrum Master empowers delivery teams to deliver business value through their development and delivery execution. They work with Product Owners to ensure the appropriate development and delivery of the prioritized backlog.
Responsibilities
- Promote Agile values, principles, and practices within the teams
- Schedule, manage and facilitate Scrum events
- Facilitate meetings and communication between product owner stakeholders and development team members to ensure the highest value work is a top priority in the backlog
- Facilitate collaboration on a daily basis to remove impediments and reduce risk
- Grow Agile maturity within development team members as well as product owners, scaling best practices
- Foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the team
- Build information radiators to ensure proper visibility and transparency between development teams, stakeholders, and the org
- Manage development team backlog, work prioritization, assignment, and tracking in Jira
- Create, manage and publish team metrics and reporting from Jira
- Assist in the administration of Jira
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2 years experience working directly with software development teams
- 2 years experience working as a ScrumMaster across multiple cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of Agile values, principles, as well as Scrum framework
- Expert level understanding of Jira administration
- Experience working and managing Atlassian suite tools
- Experience and knowledge of Kanban framework
- Knowledge of scaled Agile approaches
- Excellent facilitation, conflict mediation, and situational awareness skills
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Location: Sacramento, CA (Required)
