Position Overview:

As a Systems Modeling Specialist, you will be at the forefront of creating and maintaining intricate system models using Cameo Systems Modeler. Your expertise in systems engineering will be critical in transforming complex requirements into well-structured, functional models. If you have a deep passion for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and a track record of success with Cameo Systems Modeler, we would love to connect with you.

Primary Duties:

  • Model Creation & Evolution: Spearhead the design and ongoing enhancement of system models, leveraging the capabilities of Cameo Systems Modeler to support diverse engineering initiatives.

  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with various teams to gather, interpret, and incorporate requirements, ensuring the system models reflect the necessary accuracy and efficiency.

  • Validation & Assurance: Conduct comprehensive validation and verification activities to ensure the system models' precision and completeness.

  • Technical Leadership: Offer expert advice on MBSE practices and methodologies, empowering the team to elevate its modeling proficiency.

  • Systems Analysis: Undertake detailed analyses of system models to uncover potential challenges and propose effective solutions.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Generate thorough documentation and analytical reports based on the system models, providing valuable insights for stakeholder decision-making.

  • Integration Support: Facilitate the seamless integration of system models with other engineering tools and processes to maintain workflow continuity.

  • Training & Development: Provide training and mentorship on Cameo Systems Modeler and MBSE principles, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Ongoing Development: Keep abreast of the latest trends in MBSE and related technologies to continuously refine and improve modeling practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Credentials: Bachelor s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master s degree is advantageous.

  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Cameo Systems Modeler or in a similar role, with significant exposure to MBSE.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Cameo Systems Modeler or comparable MBSE tools.

  • Systems Engineering Expertise: In-depth knowledge of systems engineering concepts and methods.

  • Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in team settings.

  • Detail Orientation: High attention to detail, ensuring precision and excellence in all tasks.

  • Project Management: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Professional certifications in MBSE or related fields.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SysML (Systems Modeling Language) and UML (Unified Modeling Language).

  • Industry Insight: Experience in sectors such as aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar industries.

  • Additional Tools: Knowledge of additional engineering tools and software that integrate with Cameo Systems Modeler.
