Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Comply with all EHS activities and strictly adhere to all work instructions and safety procedures. Where necessary make recommendations to improve safety in the workplace.
- Immediately report any unsafe or unhealthy working condition to supervisor/leadership.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellence in dispatching, identifying, receiving, and ensuring quality of product being shipped and received.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting daily cycle counts and reconciling with computer system.
- Investigate inventory shortages, determine root causes, and create action plans to prevent reoccurrences.
- Maintains excellent physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing innovative design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results, directing and training employees.
- Motivates team members to excel in daily activities.
- Contributes to team effort by rolling up sleeves to get the job done, when needed.
- Maintain contingency plans for time sensitive operations (unscheduled absentees, customer issues, systems malfunctions, inventory exceptions, transport equipment issues).
- Ensure the integrity of the business management system is maintained.
- Schedules daily inbound carriers for shipment of finished goods.
- Understands and performs daily system moves of inventory internally and externally.
- Supports daily Production delivery of Material to Production staging locations.
- Works closely with Production Supervision in support of Material Transfers and FGI stocking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of Supervisory experience required, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of inventory management methodology.
- Experience working in WMS/ERP systems.
- Experienced with applicable safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills with team members, peers, management, and customers.
- Ability to lead and train a high-performance team, achieve results, and team goals.
- Fulfill responsibilities while upholding our values and ethics.
- Proficient Computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ensure a safe work environment is the #1 priority of all team members.
- Ability to work overtime.
- High School Diploma required; college degree is a plus.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Salary : $49,200 - $62,300
