Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of professional services to customers across multiple projects. Through strong interpersonal skills, open communication, and a balanced approach, the Project Manager achieves results and facilitates consensus.
Develop/maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and to manage expectationsEstablish project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones
Document and manage project scope (change control)
Identify resource needs, assign work, and coordinate schedules
Monitor and track key project dependencies
Oversee project budgets
Communicate project status both internally and externally to the client
Identify and manage project risks/issues
Lead technical resources to ensure adequate root cause analysis of issues
Establish Statements of Work
Ensure quality of delivered services
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience leading projects focused on delivery of technologyLeading teams of subject matter experts
Customer-focused and business-oriented
Excellent time management skills
Management of multiple concurrent projects
Strongly versed in the fundamentals of project management
Experience with project management tools such as SmartSheet and Microsoft Project
Strong communication and business writing skills
Proficient in producing presentations and reports using office suite tools
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to identify, resolve and follow up on issues leveraging subject matter experts
Team player - strong initiative, independent thinker, driven to succeed, high energy with a commitment to work and follow-through
Willingness to travel (10 to 20 percent)
Preferred Skills:
Experience in deployment of enterprise software
Software Development Life Cycle Experience as it relates to a commercial software package implementation and customization
Trucking Industry Experience
PMI / PMP certification
